Stand E-Z Shoe Products
It has been known for a long time that anything doing with your feet can have
a vast effect on the rest of your body. When looked upon as a synchronously
functioning mechanism with the rest of the body, correctly aligning your feet
can have wonderful effects for the whole.
The following shoe products align your feet to keep your whole body
upright thus causing less stress in your neck, back and shoulders. Your will
instantly feel straighter and taller with less fatigue at the end of the day.
Adjustable Heel Lifts
Simply by adding some heel height in both shoes you will
stand up straighter instantly. Some shoes need more additional lift than others
so our heel lifts are adjustable. They are designed so that your heel hits
at the correct spot and that the rest of the lift does not interfere with the
arch of your foot.
Heel Chips
The heel chips lift your heel up and back. They are used
in both shoes when your heels have caused cupping in the shoes where they
hit. This little wedge placed in the back of the shoe will lift and tilt your
heel backwards allowing your body to stand more upright immediately.
These heel chips are also useful in sandals and open-backed shoes when extra
heel height is needed.
Shoe Insoles
I know this goes against our modern "wisdom" of using arch
supports and orthotics but REMOVING THE INSOLES FROM YOUR
SHOES -
if they have any arch support - can make a tremendous improvement in your
whole body posture.
Eye opening new discoveries in biomechanics have changed how we address
arch supports. The old idea of supporting the arches is
wrong. These arch supports might temporarily make your feet feel
better but they make your whole body worse.
Most insoles that come in shoes are raised in the arch area. This is BAD
for your upper body. When you stand on them, the rest of your body goes
through mechanical changes which involve your feet, ankles, knees, pelvis, and
spine. This makes your body lean forward and destabilizes it causing stress
and pain. Once you have removed the insoles then you can replace them with our firm ones. These are the Stand E-Z flat Insoles that you see below.
*** Occasionally a structural doctor will recommend the Stand E-Z Wedged Insoles for a particular pair of shoes. Please include your doctor’s name in the “Ordering Instructions” box when ordering these.
Orthotic Dots
These round, slightly raised discs are placed under the arch in ONE OF YOUR SHOES ONLY.
*** Structural doctor will often recommend an Orthotic Dot to be placed in your shoes. Please include your doctor’s name in the “Ordering Instructions” box when ordering these.
Fixing Shoes
The way we fix shoes is to remove the insole, add any heel lift necessary,
and then replace the old insoles with our flat insoles (they can lay
on top of our heel lifts and chips). Observe and you can easily tell what is
best for you as you become more upright, more stable, breathe easier, etc.
