Stand E-Z Shoe Products
It has been known for a long time that anything doing with the feet can have
a vast effect on the rest of the body. Unfortunately we have been taught as
doctors to treat the feet on a segmental basis. When looked upon as a
synchronously functioning mechanism with the rest of the body, protocols
regarding the feet make sense as you are able to knowingly impact the whole
body. Use of our shoe products gives you ability to model your patients
structure and posture from the ground up.
As mentioned previously we are concerned with keeping a patients body upright
between visits. If you make a correction during their office visit and then they
walk out of your office with shoes that make their upper body hunch forward how
long do you think they will feel better? How long do they have a chance of
maintaining your correction? And ultimately, who gets the blame for the patient
not doing well?
The following shoe products align the feet to keep the whole body
upright thus causing less stress in the neck and shoulders. Your patients will
instantly feel straighter and taller with less fatigue at the end of the day. The following shoe products align the feet to keep the whole body

The heel lifts, insoles, orthotic dots, and heel chips are
all designed to
work together and can all be trimmed to fit.
Heel Lifts
Simply by adding some heel height bilaterally in shoes a person will
stand up straighter instantly. They are designed so that the calcaneous hits at
the correct spot and that the rest of the lift does not interfere with the arch
of the foot.
Some shoes need more additional lift than others so they come in an
adjustable style or in set heights. The adjustable ones have three layers of
1/8" totaling 3/8". Simply peel off the layer or layers not needed.
The set height heel lifts are available in 1/4" and 3/8" and come in small,
medium, and large widths as do the adjustable ones.
Heel Chips
The heel chips lift the calcaneous up and back. They are used bilaterally in
shoes when the heels have caused cupping in the shoes where they hit. this
little wedge placed in the back of the shoe will lift and tilt the calcaneous
backwards allowing the body to stand more upright immediately. These heel chips
are also useful in sandals and open-backed shoes when extra heel height is
needed.
Shoe Insoles
I know this goes against our modern "wisdom" of using arch supports and
orthotics but REMOVING THE INSOLES FROM YOUR PATIENTS
SHOES - if they have any arch support - can make a tremendous improvement
in their whole body posture.
Eye opening new discoveries in biomechanics have changed how we address arch
supports. The old idea of supporting the arches is wrong.
These arch supports might temporarily make feet feel better but they make the
whole body worse.
Most insoles that come in shoes are raised in the arch area. Like arch
supports, this is BAD for your upper body. When you stand on them, the
rest of your body goes through mechanical changes which involve your feet,
ankles, knees, pelvis, and spine. This makes your body lean forward and
destabilizes it causing stress and pain.
Orthotic Dots
Before these dots came along we used 2 band-aids stacked on top of each
other, under the arch, on the breakdown side. A couple of years ago the
manufactures changed the cotton pad to a plastic one that wasn't quite as thick.
So instead of 2 band-aids it took 2 1/2 to get the same height. This was a lot
of work and so doctors quit doing it with many of their patients.
Our Orthotic Dots are just the right height to stabilize the breakdown side
while walking. They are simple to apply with a peel-off backing so now it is
easy to use them with everyone. You can integrate them with all of the other
standing products we carry.
